The Brief
As part of our continued partnership with WaterBear Network, we were tasked with producing the premiere screening event for MATAR - a short docu-film created in partnership with Choose Love, telling the story of an asylum seeker in England who is forced to live on the fringes of society
Storytelling sits at the heart of the WaterBear brand, and so the event needed to create a space for people to come together and provoke powerful conversation. Our ambition was to create an event that felt appropriate to the narrative of the evening, whilst showcasing the incredible talent involved in the production of the film.

What We Did
We arranged an exclusive takeover of Curzon Soho and partnered with Imad’s Syrian Kitchen to provide catering for the event. The evening kicked off with networking, followed by a screening of the film and 'making of' feature, as well as a panel session with Q&A.
Our scope for the event included venue sourcing, branding & print production, guest management, catering, content management and overall show production. Inclusivity was central to our approach, as the event attracted journalists, NGO's and members of the migrant community.
The Result
A hugely successful evening that attracted a ‘full house’ and drove important conversations against the backdrop of the current political climate.
